“ Loved it here. Everything was wonderful except for a couple of minor service issues. More on that later. This was a last second Valentine's Day option since my original reservation elsewhere didn't work out (the other place informed me the day before when confirming my reservation that they decided to switch to pre-fix and we didn't want that). Thankfully, Indian places tend to be available. We had a reservation and sat right away. We started with one of their specialities, chole batura, which is a chickpea dish served with 2 gigantic puff pastries. So, being the Americans we are, we ripped those apart and used it to make tacos. The dish was so flavorful without being too spicy. If you order this keep in mind a couple of things-the side of spiced onions it is served with is a great addition and you have to eat it with the pastry. It really loses something if you try to eat the chickpea dish without the pastry. And since nothing here was gluten free, if you have a gluten allergy, well, don't go to Indian restaurants but definitely don't get this. If you're merely intolerant and will just have to deal with the bloats, get this. It's worth it. For entrees we split a mushroom masala and the Dahl makhani. The Dahl was another chickpea based curry kind of dish. Since I couldn't get the naan bread due to the gluten (wait, I'll explain) I upgraded to the Jerra rice, which is basically a spiced rice. Okay, so why avoid the naan if I was going to eat the pastry? Because I didn't know I was going to eat the pastry and I was already eating Indian on Valentine's Day (who does that????), and I was to intending to add the gluten bloats on top of that. And yes, I share way too much info on here. Anyway, the entrees were amazing. Once we had all three, I would rank them the Dahl (which, by the way, is another signature dish, I think) then the mushroom masala, then the appetizer. And none were bad, but gun to the head, that's how I'd have to rank them. The restaurant is cute as anything. The decorations are beautiful and there's a lot of space. Some of the little nick-nacks are weird but overall, a really nice place to enjoy your dinner. Service issues-first, I guess appetizers are a western concept because only in Europe and the US can you order a starter and be given time to eat your starter. I feel like every ethnic restaurant I go to just slams the table with food. I know there are a lot of places-"street food" restaurants for example-where everything comes out when it's ready. But if you advertise appetizers, then the entrees shouldn't come out a minute after the appetizer. Second, we waited a good 20 minutes after finishing our meal for someone to come to see if we were ready. That's too long, especially on a holiday when you might have post-dinner plans like we did. In spite of that, this was still a 5 star meal. For the food and ambiance, I can't take anything away for a couple of service issues that were admittedly minor. I'd definitely come back. ”
“ I've been craving authentic Indian food, so my bew brought me here for our anniversary. We had no idea what to order, so we leaned heavily on pics from previous Google reviews & what our waitresses recommended. This is a small restaurant, but you know it's good because it was nothing but natives dining in & the meals are shareable! Now don't y'all go up there & start cutting up. Have some act right. Enjoy! ”
“ I've heard great reviews about this place and had been wanting to come by here for a while! For starters we had papdi chat and pani puri, and I preferred the chat more. The pani puri was good but I wasn't the biggest fan of the potato stuffing. For the main meal, I went with the paneer tikka labadaar with chili garlic naan. The naan was delicious and the paneer was pretty good too. There wasn't a lot of paneer pieces, but the gravy was quite tasty. We got our food fairly quickly, and I recommend putting in a reservation since it can get pretty crowded and there isn't a lot of tables at the place. ”
“ Staff is really friendly and the buffet had a lot of good options! The interior was really nice and I had a great time catching up with family/friends here. I especially loved having non stop ras malai for dessert. So good! ”
“ This is the spot if you are craving curry. Everything we ordered was delicious! They had large portions perfect for groups to share and leftovers. I was surprised by the stuffed mushrooms and enjoyed the green dessert drink our waiter had us try. The service was quick and the wait safe was very friendly. ”
